WCA Pavilion
We designed and fabricated a pavilion for Københavns Kommune in collaboration with Urgent Agency, that celebrates Copenhagen as the UNESCO World Capital of Architecture.
The pavilion was firstly situated in a prominent location on Kongens Nytorv and was on display in the square for the entirety of 2023. Its purpose was to pay tribute to the distinctive environment and urban culture of Copenhagen. It has been relocated in January 2024 and is currently situated in Bispebjerg.
Bringing us in at an early concept stage, creative agency Urgent.Agency employed us as architects to design, detail, build and project manage the pavilion. The pavilion was delivered on-time (in adverse weather conditions!) and was opened by the Mayor of Copenhagen in January 2023.
