The Station House
As part of a wider residential refurbishment, we were commissioned to design a bespoke kitchen that would serve as both a functional workspace and a crafted centrepiece.
Conceived more as a freestanding piece of furniture than a fitted unit, the kitchen is made from Danish ash, with expressive joinery that lends a sense of sturdiness and permanence.
A calm, cohesive material palette—creamy ash, cool white Italian lava stone, and original yellow brick—provides a quiet backdrop, allowing the tools and rituals of cooking to take centre stage.
Design and production were commissioned by Joshua Waterstone Architects.
