The Station House
We were invited by Joshua Waterstone Architects to design a bespoke kitchen within a wider refurbishment project that they were handing.
Crafted in Danish ash, the kitchen is conceived more as a freestanding piece of furniture than a fitted unit.
Expressive joinery adds a sense of sturdiness, while the light tones of the material palette—creamy ash, cool white Italian lava stone, and original yellow brick—create a calm, cohesive backdrop.
This allows the tools and rituals of cooking to take centre stage, giving the space its sense of focus.
