Restaurant Lido
Inspired by our clients—two Italians and one Dane—we aimed to reflect the cultural exchange they bring to their food through our spatial design. The result is a romanticized interpretation of Rome in Denmark.
Drawing inspiration from the crumbling beauty of Roman aesthetics, particularly the Chiesa di Sant’Angelo in Pescheria, our design at Lido seeks to evoke the warmth of an Italian trattoria. At the heart of the space, an elegant
Italian cherry bar curves to welcome guests as they step in from the street, guiding them naturally toward the service station. For those looking to linger, cosy Danish ash benches are nestled into carved niches, offering the perfect spot to enjoy Lido’s delicious food or unwind with a cup of coffee.
