The project was driven by a strong concept from the start, inspired by the clients themselves. With two Italians and one Dane, we aimed to create a design that reflected a view of Italy from Denmark.
Using this as a starting point, we developed a contemporary interpretation of the traditional trattoria, with a limited material palette of Italian cherry, Danish ash, and plasterboard.
