Goods Table [2022]
As part of the wider renovation of ‘Goods’, a menswear store on Østerbro, we worked alongside architect Julius Nielsen, who developed the concept design, whilst we collaborated to develop the design further, adding the technical details necessary to bring it to life.
For this piece, a number of hidden connections were developed to make a table of such weighty proportions look effortless. We also added a hidden drawer behind one of the smoked-oak bricks.Designed in collaboration with Julius Nielsen, Produced by Standard Practice.

The asymmetrical tabletop comprises a radial array of 8 veneered ’slices’, skirted by 32 unique solid smoked-oak ’bricks’, and supported by 4 Japanese-tiled cylinders.
